Hammonasset Regional Sport Kite Competition - May 17 & 18

CTKiters : Message: Hammonasset Regional Sport Kite Competition - May 17 & 18:

Hmmm, a roped off field, complete with a sound tent for the annual Hammonasset Kite Festival on Saturday and Sunday May 17th and 18th. Hey, why not have a Regional sport kite competition!!!!!!

So, mixed among the sport kite demos, Rok battles and Bol races, we are planning to do some competing. Here is your chance to earn some AKA points to possibly be invited to the Grand Nationals in Gettysburg, PA this September. Or maybe just accumulate some bragging points with your friends. The event will count towards AKA Sport Kite Conference points.

Because straight lines and round circles are important building blocks, we will be running both Dual-Line precision and ballet events for Novices. A flyers briefing for Novices will be conducted before and after competition.

Competition will also be open to Experienced and Master level flyers. We are planning Combined Individual Dual-Line and Individual Multi-Line ballet events along with Open Dual-Line Pairs, Team and Team Train ballet events. We are also planning to be the first event on the East Coast to offer Open Multi-Line Pairs and Team"

accepted students day at SJC

we learned that there is "NO CURFEW" at SJC, to what seemed to be the great disappointment of one father(not me). Boys can overnight on weekends if you have your room-mates consent. We also met Dorothy Keller, Professor of Fine/Performing Arts.

The day was designed to help potential students decide if SJC is right for them.
