rainy sunday practice for Dragon boat race

Dragon boat practice in the rain today up on Candlewood lake. getting ready for next Saturday's racing at Lynn Deming Park in New Milford. Saw a bald eagle flying along the shore...that was neat! Water was in the high 70's I'm guessing....like a bath tub.

wooden boat show at Mystic Seaport

Barb and I spent Saturday at the 2010 Wooden Boat Show and then had an early dinner at Abbott's Lobster in Noank.

At the boat show we found some beautiful wooden rowing sculls and the Rowing Hall of Fame.

At Abbott's I found their famous Hot Lobster Sandwich.....A big pile (1/2 cup I'd guess) of lobster meat warmed with a little butter on a toasted bun with a little butter....yum, butter, yum

ran into an olde crab during the disbetes walk in New Canaan

Ran into Ron Faanes at the Diabetes walk in New Canaan this morning. Ron is a member of the oldecrabs hockey club and they will be holding hockey tournament in a couple of weeks in Danbury.
