weekend projects.....

This weekend, after the Road trip, we spent more time working on the new patio area...
Bonsai tree and placed a bird bath (a father's day gift).

Intstalled a "Rain barrel" in the front yard.
...so of course it hasn't rained!

Layed in some more brisk to connect the old hot tub pad.
Also found a new home for the fountain.....

Here's a little cloaser look at the fountain and the hot tub pad turned into a barbaque area. Posted by Picasa

Danbury Fund Raiser - Heart Art

Local artist, including a personal friend Danny McKee, presented their works of Hearts at the Danbury Fair Mall on Saturday. The hearts will be auctioned in May to support the Cardio-wing at Danbury Hospital. The big Kahuna - Dan McKee - loves woodies!!! Can't you tell.

Woodstock project completed

the design is based on an ASMARA. A few personal changes later produced a 8 foot wide stunt kite. While the blizzard of FEB 2006 was underway I finished assembly. I built it for the Smithsonian Kite Festival which celebrates its 40th anniversary, and reminisce's about the decade of its origin – the 1960s. Posted by Picasa

hPDA discovered

my sister-in-law Anu send me this link a week or two ago. It described a PDA that never requires battery replacement or recharging. I have since created a hPDA for myself and after a week of use, I'm still using it.
